AKYEL considers Engineering and Design studies as the most important issue in all its applications. Therefore, it takes care to carry out each project and engineering work in the best possible way. Accordingly, regardless of whether the work is small or large-scale, the company management has two indispensable instructions; The first is to ensure that all operating principles and details are sufficiently learned by the relevant construction site and project group in order to be able to do the work and thus to have extensive knowledge and documentation about the whole system. The other is that the work should never be started without the application shop drawings and system calculation reports.

In design matters, it is aimed to ensure that those working in the engineering department are experienced and trained, and that the personnel of this group develop themselves and conduct research. For this purpose, all main technical personnel are encouraged to attend in-house seminars and domestic and international seminars. AutoCAD has been used for project drawings in the Design Department since 2005. At AKYEL Headquarters, the design group consisting of minimum 5 engineers, architects and technical draftsmen provides the engineering services required by the company. On the other hand, each construction site has the required number of project engineers and technical draftsmen according to the needs of the project.

Another important approach in engineering and design works is the control and coordination of field project engineers and technical draftsmen by AKYEL Center ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT. In all contracting works, the basic engineering and system design is first prepared by AKYEL Central Engineering Group. Afterwards, some application projects and WORK-THROUGH projects are generally prepared by the construction site project group. AKYEL central engineering group completes and supports all design works required by the construction site project group.

On the other hand, the engineering group closely follows the international standards (B.S., AMERICAN, SNIP RUSSIAN, DIN, etc.) and applies them according to the contract conditions.
